Background This is the song I often end my gigs with. New Year’s Eve has always been a time of reflection for me, and this song came to me as I was going to some friends’ house for a party. As soon as I arrived I borrowed a guitar and disappeared into a bedroom for a while. Luckily they forgave me, and I got a song out of it. The song has vocal, harmony vocal, acoustic guitars, harmonica, and banjo. |
A Little Worse For Wear
It's New Year's Eve about a quarter to one
(Chorus)
It's a time for reflecting not a time for regrets
Looks like I've been through four cats and a lousy husband
Well I learned how to cook and I fixed up the yard
So I'll dance in the rain and turn my face toward the sun ©1998 Bronwen Williams |
